More randomness

I was chewing the other day... mulling over the economy. I'm not totally anti Obama. I give him big props for his crazy boldness to take the country in the direction he feels it should be taken; however I am a little concerned that he and numbers of elected officials that are not listening to their constituents.

Here in MT the Attorney General has refused to join the states trying to stand up against the strong arm of the Federal Government pushing the new Health Care Bill over on us; one source said there was a 70:1 ratio for the complaint vs support calls that came in to his office... and there were multiple hundreds. The AG's undertone seems to be "we know what's best for you, and your gonna get it whether you want it or not!" He is a publicly elected official and he is not even interested in public comments: http://www.flatheadbeacon.com/articles/article/dont_expect_montana_to_join_lawsuit_challenging_health_care_reform/16781/
It's that kind of bunk that stirs up hate and discontent... Like, so what good is this "democracy" if democratic process is ignored? Some are still bold about speaking their minds:

The other day I sent out a mass email the body was basically this: "I swore an oath to protect the US against all enemies foriegn AND DOMESTIC (itself?), I want others to be aware of our nations challenging situation - if we don't don't lighten the debt load it's gonna sink us. We need people brave enought to do something about it. Stay positive and look for solutions!" And I informed people of [ I.O.U.S.A.: Solutions ] - google it or something... No I'm not part of any rebellion or anything like that... I just think we should all be as proactive as possible to help our country and our countrymen. Am I running for office? (sigh) time for a run...
